Hi All,

At the moment we are using IBM SAP adapter to connect to SAP. We are not very happy with the way adapter works and want more flexibility in terms of implementation. So,we are thinking of using java to connect to SAP for inbound and outbound activities. So, just for a starter thought,i have some questions:

1.Is it possible to connect to SAP using java compute node and do all the work that we normally do using SAP adapter for inbound and outbound communication.

2.Are java compute nodes fully independant i.e. they are as independant as any other java class and are not restricted by an wbimb restrictions.

3.Can i create segments using java compute nodes with JCO and receive any data from SAP.

Regards
brgmo.

Its a really good adapter (mySAP Adapter) from IBM Side,
What more flexibility you required?

Please clear us, are you using mySAP Adapter or
SAP nodes

Thanks Gayathri. We are using mysap adapter. But the problem is we are no getting enough documentation for that.We are planning to implement some more solutions and we are trying to use JCO and java compute nodes for that.

Is this is your problem?
if you mind to search you will get some information regarding the same.

have a look of this:

mySAP Adapter performs better than JCN.
JCN you have to code each and everything,
most of them are customized in mySAP Adapter.
