Hi, I created a CMS keystore for my qmgr and set the keystore expiry time. I have now decided that I would prefer that the keystore never expire. Is there a runmqckm command that I can issue to change the keystore so that it does not expire?
I have quite a few certs in the keystore now and I do not want to have to delete/recreate the keystore and reimport all my certs. |

Turns out simply changing the keystore password will reset the expiry to unlimited (Validity: 0).
runmqckm -keydb -changepw...
Pretty lame command though. When it prompts for the new pw you only have to enter it once, so you better not fat finger it. Also, you can enter the previous pw. |

To be a little more clear, -changepw does what it says, it changes the password to a new password.
This new password has a new expiry. If you don't specify the -expire option when you change the password, then the new password does not expire.
Also, the keystore itself doesn't expire ever. Just the password. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
