Hello !!!
I'm facing a weird problem, my debugger is not working. what i'm doing is
1. go to debugger and open the msg flow(input node->compute node->output node)
2. set the break points
3. then i put my msg in the queue it is showing up in the output queue it is not stopped at the breakpoint(if stopped we see red mark in the msg flow).
4. so then i tried to run the debugger, there is an error showing unable to deploy. and in config. mgr. database i see Csection=dpling; so i deleted that row in the db.
5.Now i'm trying to deploy from the Assignments view(not debugging) again i'm getting the same error, unable to deploy and same csection=dpling in the database.
so, what i did is i restarted the system, and even i deleted the broker and config and recreated. but even now when i try to debug and same pbs steps 3 to 5.
I'm unable to see anything it the system logs... are there any other logs generated which might be helpful...
Please,It would be great if anyone of you guys suggest me how to overcome this problem.
Thanks
Surendra |

Surendra,
You won't believe this ... I don't use WMQI debugger to debug my message flows!! That's why I didn't reply to your post.
Our friends out there who are using debugger will be able to suggest some solution.
I have seen another post reporting similar problem ..

What version of WMQI and CSD are you using?
If you continue to have problems with Debugger, I would suggest that you debug your message flows using Trace nodes. _________________ Kiran

Like Kiran, I tend to use a trace node in the message flow when debugging (having encountered problems in the past with the WMQI debugger).
Have you checked that the range of ports specified in the etc/services file (see the mqsidbgmin and mqsidbgmax entries) are not conflicting with any other applications that are using the same TCP/IP ports ?
The 'Debugging message flows' section in Chapter 5 of the 'Using the Control Center' manual provides some further information - possibly it is an Authorisation problem ?
Regards,
Nick. |
