So, even though the docs say that the properties file is optional for a plugin, it appears through the trace log that MQSI v2.1 is looking for it:

2002-10-02 18:11:12.685999 2800 Information ?????????? 1 ?????????? C:/Program Files/IBM/WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1/messages/MQSIV2_postit.properties

This relates to the hard error I posted earlier which prevents me from using this plugin.

Is there any way to create a file for MQSI - I have his header file containing all the messages. Or is there anyway to tell MQSI not to look for the properties file.

In any case, it seems that the plugin cannot get to its messages.

I emailed M Brady about it but he is away for a while (unfortunately since I need this node!)
