Hey,

anyone encountered a problem using wbi v. 6 or above (upto 6.1) and oracle Enterprise over red-hat linux version 10.2.03?

It doesnt seem to work somehow...

No fresh installations, nor upgrades...
E.Gs start processes with PIDs and DFE are seen in pe -ef.

However no data is processed, and lots and lots of javacore, core, and Snap001 are written until filesystem gets full...

As per the v6.0 & v6.1 SOE pages, only Oracle 10g R1 & R2 are supported.

Do you mean Oracle 10.2.0.3 (i.e. Fix Pack 3) ?

If so, on Linux it doesn't work and IBM are saying Oracle have introduced a bug in that fix pack that caused the execution group to terminate due, so the broker goes into a restart/fail loop (and you get lots of java core dumps).

Only solution currently on offer is to regress to Oracle fix pack 2 and then raise the issue with Oracle.

IBM are currently saying this is an Oracle issue and for the customer to take up with Oracle.
