I have a quickie for you all.... as I don hv the env to test it myself

My flow is like

HTTP Input ---> compute --> MQ Output ----> {legacy application works here } ---> MQGett --> HTTP Response

Now legacy application is slow and HTTPInput times out....

What ll happen to the msg..

i mean would legacy work as stated earlier.... or ll it get some trigger abt the timeOUt....

From your Flow diagram, it appears like the "legacy system" uses MQ input and output; which means that the HTTPInput in the flow timing out should not affect the "legacy system" in any way.

Your flow won't get an HTTP timeout.

The HTTP timeout will occur at the client side.

The MQGet node should have a timeout value, too. Without it, the flow will wait forever to get the message back from legacy.

How you tie together the HTTP timeout and the MQGet timeout, and how you decide what to do if the MQGet is taking too long... is up to your business requirements.
