Hi All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use an ODBC name that is different from the DB2 database name under AIX.

This works for us with ODBC under Windows, but under AIX it seems that the database name must equal the ODBC name.

e.g.
[ODBC Data Sources]
HIPADS=IBM DB2 ODBC Driver

[HIPADS]
Driver=/u01/db2data/db2mqsi/sqllib/lib/db2_36.o
Description=HIPAD001 DB2 ODBC Database
Database=HIPAD002
database=HIPAD002
alias=HIPAD002
Alias=HIPAD002

*** I added the database/Alias/alias entries just to see if it would pick up a different name - it fails when they aren't there too.***

When Accessing the HIPADS datasource under WMQI (which we want to access the HIPAD002 database) we get the following error

We want to do this because we have multiple brokers on a single box and want to access different databases with each broker, but use the same flows with the same datasource name.

If anyone has another way to do this let me know too.
