Trouble assiging SSL to QM.

Hi All,

I am configuring SSL for MQ 5.3 and facing problem in "assigning SSL to QMGR". The SSL's i create doesn't seems to be associated with a private key and as a result MQSeries is not allowing me to assign the SSL to the queue manager.

I am using the command:
makecert -sk MQKey -pe -n "CN=MQCertificate,OU=SD,O=ABC,C=IN" MQCertificate.cer

for creating a self-signed certificate. Is this the right way of creating the SSL.

Could anyone help me. Thanks in advance,

I believe the filename extension must be .sto, not .cer

You may also check whether the MQSSLKEYR environment variable is set to the location of the key respository directory.

I would like to get more information concerning your experience setting up SSL. I've working to get the Client Connection channel to work.
