Can I please know if IBM MQ V5.3 can be used from 64 bit application (.Net 2.0 & VS2005) ?
I installed CSD12 as well but am getting an exception when creating an object of MQQueueManager.
Any fix for above or Should I use V6.0?
Thanks |

Since MQ 5.3 isn't supported anymore, yes, you should use MQ 6.0.2.2. _________________ Peter Potkay

And with MQ 5.3 you can only use a 64 bit application using the 64-bit client support pack on various of the Unix versions. There is no way you can use a 64 bit application in bindings mode until V6, and then only if you install the 64 bit version. _________________ Cheers,

Actually, even in the latest version of MQ v6, you can't connect to a Windows qmgr from a 64-bit application, as the Windows qmgr is only 64-bit tolerant.
There are some obscure notes buried in the documentation about this. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
