Hi all,
I am a beginner of MQ, and now I want to know how to host a request/reply service on a queue, I read some books, but they are not clear(at least I think so), so will you please give me some guidance.
What I want to do is like this:
There are two MQMs,we name them QM1 and QM2, and QM1 send a request to QM2, then QM2 send a reply to QM1.I don't know what kind and how many queues should I build and which service should be started....
Also, can you give me some books that full of basic hands-on examples. So that I can follow the steps to do some practice job. Thanks. My MQ version is V6 for Windows.

I'd also suggest that you take a look at the Intercommunication manual.

Check out the Quick Beginnings Guide for Windows MQ.

There's a chapter in there for verifying your install that will guide you.
