How do i enable and disable MQGET. I want to simulate the 2016 error. I am using a hpux server. And, i dont know the commands used to disable and enable the MQGET. Please help.

You don't disable MQGET, you make the queue write only (2016 = get inhibited on queue).
Look up the Command Reference on the InfoCenter, which describes all the control commands for MQ objects.
Hint - you need to alter the queue attributes so that it throws the 2016 as I described it above.

You can force the real 2016 by get-inhibiting the queue. If you want to simulate 2016 rather than getting a real 2016, you might be able to do this using an API exit. |
