Hi there,
Once I have an event message on a queue, how do I parse it to something recognizable? Message Broker only receives it as a blob...
Thank you,

I am not sure if I understand you correctly. If you know the format of the message maybe you can map it to a message set. If it is XML you can parse it as such. If the text is unreadable and you know it is character then you can try doing a cast to a char using the proper ccsid & encoding. _________________ Shalabh

If you mean an MQ event message, it has a recognised structure which you could parse into a message set rather than a blob. There may even be a pre-written message set someplace; I'm not aware of one but maybe someone knows better? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
