Hi All,
We have one Test Box running both MQ Server and WMQI. We also have four Test Environments that need to access this one test box.
How can we support all four environments using only the one box running the MQ software?

Hopefully the one box you have running MQ/MQSI has sufficient resources.
Depending on how isolated you need your test environments to be when it comes to MQSI processing will define how the MQSI server can be setup.
Also, will the four test environments be placing messages on queues using an MQClient connection or will they have their own queue managers.
The simplest scenario will be to have a separate MQSI Execution group for each test environment. Flows pertaining to each envrionment would be deployed to a separate execution group running under a common Broker.
This would imply the use of a single QMGR, Broker and Broker database for all Test environments. This scenario may work for you but will not be good for load and performance testing.
The other extreme is to have separate QMGRs, Brokers, and Broker databases on the one box. If using DB/2 for your Broker database, you can create multiple database under the one DB/2 instance. If you are using Oracle for your Broker database, you should set up multiple instances to create a separate database for each Broker. This solution would help isolate the environments more but will really 'tax' the single server for all its resources (CPU, Memory, disk).
You should try to get some information about the types of message flows , message volumes and sizes needing to be developed for each Test Environment to help you estimate needed server resources.
