Hi all,
I had MQSI V 2.1 running well on my machine.Due to some reasons, i had to uninstall it and install MQSI2.0.1. But when i started Config Manager, it reported that MQSeries java classes are missing..i have tried various combinations of JDKs, but did not work. Could anybody guess the reason?

I am using NT,MQSeries5.2,MQSeries java classes V5.2.1, DB7.1

Any suggestions are appreciated..

I've got a feeling that I couldn't get a v2.0.1 configmgr to run against MQ v5.2 either, althought the broker runs happily against v5.2. (broker on AIX).

I didn't investiate any further (apart from ensuring that the java bits and pieces were loaded..)

I just admitted defeat and went back to v5.1 for the configmgr.

Ensure that com.ibm.mq.jar is in your classpath. 2.0.2 and 2.1 comes with the jar file. In 2.0.1, MQSI doesn't know where the jar file is located, so it needs to be in the classpath. If you have it in your classpath already, then ensure that quotes are placed around directory with spaces or use the short name. For example: "C:\Program Files\IBM\MQ\java\com.ibm.mq.jar" or C:\Progra~1\IBM\MQ\java\com.ibm.mq.jar.

The ideal situation is to use the short name.

Make sure that you have installed MQ Series Java classes, suspect that the uninstall for WMQI probably uninstalled the Java classes. One of the pre-requisites for installing 2.0.1 is that you install the MQ Java classes before. Also, I have installed MQ 5.2 on the config manager machine with no problems at all.

The support pac for the Java classes is MA88.

Hi all,
Thank you all for prompt replies. MQSeries 5.2 was the evil and every thing went well with MQSeries 5.1...
