Hi All,
Is it wise to use a number of RCD nodes in the flow. I mean i am usinh two rcd nodes.Does this affect the performance drastically.

It's twice as expensive as using 1 RCD node. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

If your requirement is to process one message every 30 days, then it won't affect performance drastically to use 2 RCD nodes instead of one. It might not affect performance drastically to use 10,000 RCD nodes instead of one.
If your requirement is to process one message every 30 nanoseconds, then you have likely drastically affected performance by using one RCD node.
It's useless to talk about performance in the absence of requirements and in the absence of measurement.
Every time you cause the message data to be parsed, this takes time. Using an RCD node causes the message data to be parsed.
Whether or not this time is necessary or not, and thus can be eliminated... depends entirely on the business requirements that the flow is trying to meet.
Design for your requirements. Optimize performance to meet your requirements, based on measurement! _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
