What are some possible causes of message flows/exec groups not listening on queues - queues have open input count of 0.
We've tried restarting the broker, queue manager, even rebooting the box. We've tried starting and stopping the execution groups manually with mqsistopmsgflow, but no luck.
I've tried modified the kernel parameters, still nothing. Monitoring /var/log/messages doesn't turn up any errors.
ps -ef | grep Data shows exec groups have a pid, but still no input count on the queues.
Thanks in advance! _________________ MQ 6.0.2.3

Did you configure syslogd to write messages to /var/log/messages for broker? Or is it configured to write somewhere else?
Does the place that syslogd is configured to write to - show that the EG has started up successfully? Or are there errors?
Was this a previously working configuration, that stopped?
Does mqsilist on each EG show the same flows that the ConfigMgr view shows?
What happens when you try to deploy? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

For those queues - what is the qdepth for these queues?
Please confirm that the queues actually have messages that are ready to be processed. _________________ Bill Matthews |

Even if the queue depth is 0, there should be an open input count for the queues. Our exec groups listen on these queues and then processes them when a message arrives on a queues.
for the 1st broker queue manager in the cluster, there are open input counts on queues. On the 2nd broker, with the exec same message flows deployed, there are no listeners on the queues.
Has anyone run into this before? _________________ MQ 6.0.2.3

Is the broker service user also part of the mqm group or just part of the mqbrkrs group? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
