Thanks..

Knowing you i can vouch that all you need to do is enter a prometric center and i am sure you would come out with a similar score sheet as mine (100%) :p

I doubt it - I test badly and have trouble even spelling MQ!

100% is an achievement for anyone.

I think I only got an 88% on the v5.3 version of that test.

I don't do zOS, though.

No... and on a test of 50 to 60 questions, it doesn't take a lot of zOS questions for 88% to be the best score I could have gotten...

great!!! when you had done this at Impact you would have won the iPod

I got the iPod with my 87% score for WMQ V6 and don't know if I would have done better if I had taken more time, but challenged myself to read and answer all questions within 40 minutes

100% ? congratulations. but experience is what counts. same with driving license exam (the paperwork). they ask you questions like "how many meters do you need to stop if you are driving at a speed of 60müh and the streed is wet"? good if you know the meters, better if you have the experience to know when to hit the break when you are on the road as there is no meter scale.

Well, yes, absolutely, couldn't agree more.

But 100% on an exam gives bragging rights!

AkankshA,

I have a friend who is Mr-Brains-in-MQ, and he found the 6.0 test to be quite difficult. He certainly did not score 100%, and he's being doing MQ for 15 years.

So, your score is a big accomplishment. My sincere congratulations. Your score, together with your real-world experience (which is also considerable), make you quite an asset to your company.

Shirley

There are various version of the exams, and if you are fortunate enough to get a version that happens to coincide with your expertise, you will fare well. If not, it can be disasterous.

I found this randomization to be a little unsettling especially early on in my MQSeries career. The Poobah said he did not do zOS. Well, I do not do SAP R/3 or AS/400 (at least not to any degree). The first time I took a test (I don't remember what version that was...2.1 or something), I failed miserably because it was full of questions relating to SAP R/3 and AS/400!
