We have an issue where an httprequest node is sending a SOAP message to an httpserver, is not getting any response back, does not send the message through the error or failure terminal and the message can't be found.
When sending the same message through the NETTool application to the same http server, we get an http 500 Internal Server Error with an XML tag of:
<faultstring>org.xml.sax.SAXException: SimpleDeserializer encountered a child element, which is NOT expected, in something it was trying to deserialize.</faultstring>
Yet for some reason, WMB does not do this. Does the httprequest node include logic that would realise there was an error in the message before sending it across..? I'm not aware that this is the case. The Web Service does not indicate that a message has been received from WMB but does from NETTool which indicates that the node does not even try and invoke the web server.
It appears that the httprequest node/message flow just 'deletes' the message. |

If there were any errors at the HTTPRequest node trying to unmarshall the logical tree into a physical bitstream, then normal broker error handling would occur.
Check your broker system log. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

No entries appear in the broker error log so everything would apear to be working ok within the broker.
Looks as though this could be another difficult one to solve. |
