Hi,

We are busy developing a java plugin,
everthing seemed to be going according to plan until we tried
.getBuffer()
on the MbMessage that we recieved from .getGlobalEnvironment() , no matter what we do the broker throws an exception when we try that method, even when we are trying simple things like.length to establish if it ha any contents.

has anybody had experience with this, any advice would be appreciated

thanks

Could you post your ExceptionList here?

Have you tried calling the same method on LocalEnvironmentTree?

If you want to check whether the tree is empty or not, you could make use of getRootElement() and getFirstChild() methods in MbMessage and MbElement class.

Hi,
its definatly not empty, for 2 reasons, 1 being I have populated it before in a compute node and 2, we did firstchild straight away to make sure it was being passed in, I will get he exceptionlist to you asap

we did both local and global, with the same result

thanks
Paul
