I have got WAS and queue manager on the same Windows server. Do I need to install any software on the Windows server to enable connections
to queue manager of JAVA programs on WAS? Thanks for help!

If the Java programs are using client connections you'll need the client software.

No but you need to write programs / code to access the qmgr and the queues. You also need to do the JNDI setup in WAS....

There is no magic wand to make it all work by itself...

And make sure when you installed MQ that you used custom and installed also the java part...
