Hi we have MQ v6.0 running in sun sol v10. I am trying to establish between 2 QM's Channels is working fine. I am able to put and get the message using amqsput and amqsget sample programs. If i try from my portal application i am able to see the messages in the source transmission queue. next i started the channel i am not able to see those message in the destination queue. i checked in dead letter queue also. what i am missing here plz me or what could be problem?

I am able to exchange the txt messages but through the portal application I am not able to exchange java object containing hash map

So what error are you getting? Are you getting some kind of JMSError? If yes do you record the linked error?
Are the jvms on sender and receiver side at the same version / level and from the same vendor?

i didnt see any errors in systemout and systemerr logs WAS and MQ on same box (every thing on same box) I didnt see any jvm issues

You might have a channel problem. If the message is not persistent, make it persistent. Also make sure when you start your channel that it goes into running mode and not retry... On the other hand check the ipprocs of the receiving queue. Make sure your application is the only one consuming messages...

hi,
whats the ipprocs value in your destination queue. Are u sure its not consumed by the application reading the queue |
