Hi,
I have a scenario that involves a SVRCONN channel at the server side that uses MQ 6.0.2.1 on Solaris 10.
I have modified the SVRCONN channel and added a user group 'mqapp' in the MCAUSER to control the access to the channel.
I had used setmqaut to set the authorities to all the queues that it can look up, the SVRCONN channel, queue manager etc. But the client was not connecing.
I had given +all access to the above mentioned objects. Even with this, the client is not connecting. It is coming back with 2035.
If anyone thinks that I am missing something here, I'd appreciate if u can point out.
Thanks much!! |

Which call fails with the 2035?
Have you tried enabling security events to determine the exact cause? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

MCAUSER has to be a userid and not a group. That userid must be a member of the group that is authorized with setmqaut for access to the queue manager and queue(s). |

Thanks for the pointers...
I had replaced the user group name with the id.
I had not refreshed the security after the changes.
This is resolved now.
Thanks |
