Hi Guys

Im trying to understand why some of my messages are ending up on this Queue... I checked the url: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/index.jsp
and other sources but it doesnt give an explanantion why the messages are ending up here.

And there is also nothing when I check the Event Viewer.

Some insight on this from your side would be much appreciated!

Justin

The channel is throwing event messages because it's been set to.

What is the content of these messages?

The content is hex and my queue names and the qManagers names.

If there is a message on this queue, is it because it wasnt sent properly?

No it's because the channel is transmitting an event message. It has something to tell you not directly connected to any message your application is sending.

You'll find the format of event messages, along with information on why they're sent, in the documentation. You'll find the System Admin, Application Programming Reference and the Monitoring MQ manuals all of value.
