I have been using the MQGet Plug In Node since it was first released on AIX with MQSI 2.01, I down loaded the latest version (28Aug01) of the MQGet Plug In Node to do testing with testing with MQSI 2.02 on AIX.

I have inconstant results it looks like memory initialization problems or behavior changes with MQSI 2.02. I am using the MQGET to retrieve any number of store messages from a queue. I done a trace and found the mqget node had an mq error:
MQRC_OPTIONS_ERROR
(2046, X'7FE') Options not valid or not consistent.

I have looked at my message flow found that my MQInputNode properties has TRANSACTION support set to YES and on the MQGet Plug In Node had TRANSACTION support set to AUTOMATIC. I have changed the MQInputNode properties to be TRANSACTION support to be AUTOMATIC.
Now my message flow now works ?

Hi, I've trying to use MQGet without success (under MQSI 2.0.1 and MQSI 2.0.2). I always received No Message. Did you ever get it working? I followed the examples in the IA09 doc exactly.
Thanks

I too have been experiencing intermittent problems with IA09 (my .lil file is dated Sep 10 2001 (47581 bytes).

Sometimes it works, but most times doesn't - I usually get "no message". However, the messages actually get removed from the queue (and then thrown away presumably). Also the input count on the queue I'm reading from continues to grow - I end up having to kill the DataFlowEngine to remove the input count.

Any ideas?
