Hi,

Summary:
1. Is there any difference in the MQ Client v6.0.2.0 Installable/ Installation Instructions/ Working between Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 Server?

2. What is the latest version of release of MQ Client for Windows? (From my Browsing, I found it as 6.0.2.1)

Details:
Here is our environment detail:

MQ Server v6.0.2.0 on HP-UX B.11.23 ia64
MQ Client v6.0.2.0 for Windows on Windows XP SP2
.Net Framework v 1.1

An End Application runs on Windows XP SP2 and the Application is developed in .Net Framework v1.1. We have developed a simple dll in same .Net v1.1 Framework; this dll handles all MQ APIs and exposes three functions to End Application that achieve Connection to a QM, putting a Message to a Queue and getting a Message from a Queue. (The Queue Closings and QM Diconns are well handled in the dll and there are no issues around that). The End Application has been using the dll for some months now and everything worked as expected.

A week back, the End Application team started running their Application on Windows 2003 Server, and started using the same dll that they have been using, with no change in the MQ Server side. In this new environment, some errors started to occur:

1. Queue Manager Connection and Put Message haven't encountered any errors. But Get Message is working for small messages but for messages as big as 450KB, the Application claims that they are not getting the message, though the dll's log file shows that the message was retrieved successfully.

2. AMQERR log files are getting updated with two entries:

Quote:
----- amqrfpta.c : 340 --------------------------------------------------------
06/20/07 16:07:53 - Process(2944.1) User(SVCTTPSSystem) Program(w3wp.exe)
AMQ6119: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred (WinNT error 5 from
OpenProcess.)

EXPLANATION:
MQ detected an unexpected error when calling the operating system. The MQ error
recording routine has been called.
ACTION:
Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem
identifier, and to save the generated output files. Contact your IBM support
center. Do not discard these files until the problem has been resolved.
----- amqxfdcp.c : 730 --------------------------------------------------------
06/20/07 16:07:53 - Process(2944.1) User(SVCTTPSSystem) Program(w3wp.exe)
AMQ6183: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred.

EXPLANATION:
An error has been detected, and the WebSphere MQ error recording routine has
been called. The failing process is process 2944.
ACTION:
Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem
identifier, and to save the generated output files. Contact your IBM support

3. FDC Files are getting geenrated with below entry:

One obvious comment is the "Access is denied" in the bottom of the FDC.

One even more obvious comment is you should follow the advice of the message & raise a PMR with IBM, including the FDC. Typically the ProbeId of the FDC is indicative but this one doesn't seem to be.
