Hi
I just started WMQI. Can any body suggest me abt the following.
1) I have incoming messages which are complaint a particular DTD. Then how to create a message set???? To which domain and fornat it falls???
2) In compute node if i want to use output message(OutputRoot.<some thing>) , do i need to copy the reference of input to output or directly can i use OutPut Message????
3) I have input message according to a DTD. I want to convert into a COBOL structure. What are all messge sets, nodes required to implement a message flow for this????
Thanks in Advnace

Using Control Center create a message set and then add XML Physical Layer to it. Now you can import your DTD into this message set to define your input message layout. In this case, message Domain will be MRM and Message Format will be XML.

An element must be present before you refer to it using ESQL. So somewhere in your ESQL code, you want to use value of OutputRoot.<something>, you should create it first either by SET OutputRoot.<something> = ...; or by selecting SET OutputRoot = InputRoot;

First you will have to model your output message, which maps to your COBOL Copybook format into MRM. This can be done by importing COBOL copybook into the same Message Set. You will then use a Compute node to do the transformation using ESQL. _________________ Kiran
