Hi,
I have a topic registered in the broker and messages being published with the same topic.Then the published messages will end up in the registered topic queue.My question is if i publish a message with a different topic which is not registered in the broker , then were will the publishing messages will endup.

Publications are stored in the broker database or held by the admin agent. What exactly happens depends on persistence and other factors. They do not appear on a queue waiting for someone to retrieve them - when a subscriber registers for the appropriate topic, the broker (agent) will send the messages.

If the publication is not retained and there are no subscribers, then the publication is discarded.

A retained publication is stored on the broker database, ready to be picked up by the first subscriber.
