Hi all,
we have configured MQ (V5R3) on OS400 (V5R4M0). We have sender and receiver channels. They connect to zOS. Receiving channels are in status RUNNING, but sender channels are in status RETRYING.
Firewalls have been enabled on both sides to support this type of traffic.
On OS 400 PTF level for MQ (SF99296) is 4.
On both sides we receive an error in joblog AMQ9208
AMQ9208 Information 30 04/06/07 19:19:48.990048

The return code from the TCP/IP (read) call was 3426 (X'X'00000D62'').
Record these values and tell the systems administrator.

Mr Google indicates that a TCP/IP error 3426 is a timeout on receive.
I'd go speak to your network people.
Though there is a post in the forum, with that code, that the poster apparently fixed by changing security. I'll leave you to evaluate it, as this is not my favourite platform & I had a little trouble understanding what he changed. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
