com.ibm.mq.MQException: MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009

Reason code 2009 is a broken connection. If you search the forum, you'll find a vast amount of discussion on this very common code. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

No, i haven't checked the QMGR log. Since I am using websphere JMS, i am not aware of the location of QMGR log. Can u tell me where can i find the QMGR log. At the sending side, I am using Java MQ api. Here also i am getting the same exception. _________________ prasad s. |

If the connection is broken, you will. Search the forum for 2009.
The logs are in <MQ Install directory>/<queue manager name>/errors but you may not find them immediately useful. You find (as you research) that 2009 may not be a code or configuration problem directly. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
