Hello,
( 1) I have messages being piled up in 1 of the local queue. I tried to use the GET sample provided (i.e. CSQ4BVK1) but no message retrieved. So I suspect the message must have expired.
( 2) Pls advise on matter that I can browse/print expired messages?
Thank you and have a nice day ahead.

You CAN NOT browse/print expired messages because they are ... expired. _________________ Marcin |

If they were expired, the queue depth would go to zero once the queue was browsed. As you quote a Z/OS sample program name, I'm guessing you're on that platform and AFAIK expired messages are also cleared down by a background task.
And no, expired messages cannot be browsed, printed or otherwise acted on. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hello,
( 1) Thanks for all your reply. Appreciate. Since taking on MQ admin role for z/OS, I have many queries almost everyday.
( 2) BTW, what does AFAIK stands for?
Thanks.

You should probably consider getting help and/or training. We're not here as your assistants.
