Hi all,
Now I'm planning to migrate my MQv5.3 environment to brand-new MQv6 and currently working on how I can migrate my process monitoring of MQv5.3 runnnig.
I believe there are some newly added and also withdrawn processes in v6.0.
How can I determine the difference and changes between the two versions?
Manuals are not clear for me because it only includes whole process list.
What are the processes added/withdrawn?

Hi
Processes introduced at WebSphere MQ v6.0
AMQZLSA0: LQM agents
AMQZMUC0: Critical process manager
AMQZMUR0 Restartable process manager:
RUNMQBRK: Broker control job
AMQALMPX :The checkpoint processor that periodically takes journal checkpoints (AS400 )
AMQCLMAA:Non-threaded TCP/IP listener (AS400)
AMQCRS6A: LU62 receiver channel and client connection
AMQZMGR0 Process controller. This job is used to start up and manage listeners and services.
Journal chain manager.

Do you know what kind of processes are withdrawn from v5.3?
I guess there are some MQ processes incorporated into v6.

AMQHARMN.EXE Log formatter (linear logs only)
AMQHASMN.EXE The logger
AMQZLLP0: Checkpoint process
The above are the processes that i have noticed and come across

I see.
They no longer exist and are incorporated into something newly introduced in v6.0, right?
Anyhow I'm sure this kind of information must be officially and clearly documented.

I think its there in IBM site, i forgot the link.
i searched a lot, couldn't able to find it out.
anyway you can document and keep it for your purpose.
