We are getting a 2192 (non-shared queue) when trying to access one of our queue managers.
I understand that indicates a problem with a full storage medium and we are pretty sure which queue is the culprit that is cause the dataset to fill up.
My question, is there any way to clear the messages off of the queue without getting the assistance of Sys Programmer to manage the page data set?

You can use any of the available support pack utilities that work on z/OS (and I don't know which do sitting here I'm afraid! ) to unload the messages, or just clear them if you just want them gone.
In the latter case, a little app to destructively read them is an equally good solution.
Or does z/OS support CLEAR QUEUE as a command? There's a bell ringing faintly in my mind....
