Hello,

I installed MQSeries 5.2 and Oracle 8i Solaris 8.
I created 2 QMgrs on it and now I have a problem with the kernel configuration. There are errors and I can't start all the channels : segmentation fault.
I increase the different parameters of the sem. but nothing change !
What should be the correct kernel configuration ? Do I have to delete and recreate the QMgrs after modifiing the kernel ?

I'd suggest taking a lot at the WMQI Installation Guide as a quick reference. WMQI uses a DB and a Qmgr. This should give you some insight into what to change.

You can also look for an FDC file in /var/mqm/errors to see if it gives an indication as to what parameter gave you the problems.

You don't have to delete/recreate qmgrs after changing the configuration, but you do have to reboot the box.

Thank you for your answer. I found something usefull in the WMQI about DB.
But do I have to increase much more the parameters because I have 2 Qmgrs instead of 1 ? And how much ?
