I am using Interchange Server 4.3.0.3 on a server and
Mq series version :
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 530.10 CSD10
CMVC level: p530-10-L050504
BuildType: IKAP - (Production) - on a different machine .
When i try to connect either with ./testMq.sh script ( which comes with the interchange server ) either by starting the interchange server i get the following error
MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009
MQJE016: MQ queue manager closed channel immediately during connect
Closure reason = 2009
An MQ error occurred : Completion code 2 Reason code 2009
Runmqsc works fine , dspmq .. strmqm endmqm they all work fine . If someone has faced the same pb before please post an answer .
Oh and the connection settings are ok ... host, port, queue.manager name and channel ( written in uppercase CHANNEL1 defined with : DEFINE CHANNEL(CHANNEL1) CHLTYPE(SVRCONN) TRPTYPE(TCP) )
This might sound wierd ( everything being ok but still no connection ) but i wonder if someone has faced the same problem and has any sugestions .
Mq configs :
display channel(channel1)
6 : display channel(channel1)
AMQ8414: Display Channel details.

Have you searched the forum for 2009? It's a common problem and it's been widely discussed.
You'll also get some problem tracking & resolution tips; things like checking the network, investigating firewall & router settings, opening of ports etc should be somewhere to the top of your list if you've already verfied the settings are correct.

Hi gibiman,
I had this problem in the morning today Mine was related to creation of SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN
Not saying that's your problem, but it is channel related and if you've not specified anything in particular, trying this should not be a bad idea...
Else as Vitor says, a search here will fetch u a lot of info.
Regards. |
