Hi,

Any idea how MQGET Wait infinite is implemented internally within MQSeries?

If we were to implement a similar function , how do we go about this?

Regards,
VJ.

When you say a similar function, what do you mean? Something completely outside of MQSeries?

Hi,

Any idea how is it done in the context of MQSeries?

My actual intention was to have a similar functionality outside the context of MQSeries. Any pointers??

Regards,
VJ

Hi ..
You can do this by using the multithreading concept in C. you have to use the threading in implementing this and have to use notify when ever u will receive some thing on that thread...

Just go through how to do multi threading...

Cheers,
Nanda

It's somewhat analogous to socket programming. You can listen on a particular socket with timeout specified, or simply block forever waiting on some packets to come in.
