Hi,
I'm trying to get Extended Transactional Client (ETC) to work on Windows XP (Client) and Windows 2003 (MQSeries server 5.3) by following the step specificed by Dino (URL: http://blogs.msdn.com/dotnetinterop/archive/2005/07/06/436065.aspx).
In this page, he says for Step 6:
If you are running the app from an MQ client node, get the interim fix from IBM; I don't know which fix this is. you have to request it. It is not included in CSD10. It may be included in CSD11. If you are running the app on a MQ server node, then you do not need the interim fix.
After following all of his steps except Step 6 mentioned above, I have installed CSD13 on the client and server thinking the fix may be in there. Previously, we had CSD10 installed. The install didn't help.
Does anyone know if ETC is working for 5.3, or if this ETC fix is available for downloading for 5.3? Dino was using MQSeries 6.0.
If these are not options, does anyone know how to enlist a MQ transaction with MSDTC using .NET on a client?
Or am I missing something obvious?
Thanks,
--Mike |
