Windows Server 2003, WMQ 5.3 + CSD12. Its not MSCS - rather a local solution.
I have directories d:\mqm\log\QM1 and d:\mqm\qmgrs\QM1 pre-allocated on HA disks. So when I create the Queue Manager QM1 it creates QM1.000 directories.
So I copy the contents of the QM1.000 directories to where they should be, and edit the registry so everything says QM1 not QM1.000.
All seems to work OK - the Queue Manager starts etc. and looks good from out admin tool (Patrol).
But....
MQ Explorer and Services do not see my Queue Manager, and "Show" just says it doesn't exist.
Does anyone know a better way of achieving what I need to? Is there a way of sorting out Services/Explorer?
Where are the HA disks, on SAN? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
