We have channel events monitor on MQSeries for Windows NT that checks for channel stopped events and raises RAS dial-up connection.
When our customer upgraded up to MQ5.2 CSD04 we noticed that no channel stopped events generated.
Does anybody see this problem?

I am running MQ5.2 on W2K and channel events are raised.

My test:
- in queue manager properties, enable start/stop events
- SYSTEM.ADMIN.CHANNEL.EVENT is initially empty, I do not start any application on it (open input count = 0)
- start a channel
- two messages are posted on SYSTEM.ADMIN.CHANNEL.EVENT
- stop the channel
- two more messages are posted on SYSTEM.ADMIN.CHANNEL.EVENT

Can you repeat the experience? It might be that your monitoring software has some sort of trouble, or that start/stop events of your queue manager are disabled? At least the experience will reveal where the problem is.

It seems, it works with CSD04 removed...
Could you tell what MQSeries CSD level is on your box?

Oops you are right I do not have CSD04 installed. I'll try to find one around but I am not sure I will find one.
