Hi, is there any version of SQL Server that may act as a participant where WMQ V6 is the transaction coordinator? I don't think so (see link: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006266).

My manager says an IBM rep told him SQL Server 2005 is supported. I have doubts.

SQLServer does not support XA, as far as I know.

If you find confirmation on Microsoft's website that shows that SQL Server 2005 supports XA, then it might be possible to get WMQ to be the transaction coordinator.
