Hello there ...
I defined a SVRCONN channel for java client access... Distant access...
But, developpers start a lot of transactions to test some add and/or some new application features.
The problem is that my SVRCONN channel is defined on a major Queue Manager which hosts WBI and more. So my question is : do I set something, somewhere to restrict the number of CLIENT Connection only?
Because in QM.INI if I restrict access through number of channel started it includes ... every channel ( CLSDR - CLRCVR ... and of course SVRCONN ).
Any clue ?
Thx, |

Ouhaou ... Only a third program to do this ? I heard that Blockip is able to restrict number of connection of an IP such as 10.75.* right ? I'll check some test.
Thanks,
Edit : I test this version with a MQ 5.3 ... does this exit exists under MQ 6 ? ? ? |

Well I defined everything with Blockip and it works very well
Very good option is MAXCHL
By the way it shows me that the Dev Connector works through MQSeries with a BlankUser !!! Damned !
I'll ask them some modifications .

a blank user....
You can specify in the parms for BlockIP2 that it will not accept that incl. the special user (using -n) in SCYDATA...
SCYEXIT('BlockIP2(BlockExit)') SCYDATA('10.31.10.12;-n;')
or if you're using a configuration file:
BlockMqmUsers=Y;
# Flag to block for system accounts like: mqm, musr_mqadmin and ''
There is a lot of posibilities.
