I want to connect to a Server on which is MQS running. After I have connect to the sever and reboot the server it is not possibel to connect to the MQS object with the MQS Explorer/Services. I get this Message:

0x8000401A The serverprocess couldn´t startet, because the identiti is wrong. Check user name and pass. (amq4100)


What can be the problem??

Hi,
I am not sure where telnet comes in here but you should check the userid the MQSeries service is started with (Control Panel -> Services on NT). Make sure it has mqm authority.
Look up the error you are seeing in the MQ Messages manual. AMQ4100 seems to be something else.
[AMQ4100 The MMC document file <filename> could not be created. The IBM MQSeries Services console has failed to initialize.

Explanation: The service program has attempted to create a default MSC document file in the MQM "\bin" directory, but could not.
User Response: Check that the disk is not full, and that the user has create and write permissions in the MQM bin directory. ]
