Hi,

I have problem with this support pack with MQ 6 and current version of this support pack.

When I run sample program ReadPCFMessages.java to read accounting messages from SYSTEM.ADMIN.ACCOUNTING.QUEUE everything work fine.

But when I run this program to read statistics messages from SYSTEM.ADMIN.STATISTICS.QUEUE I got error 3013 MQRCCF_STRUCTURE_TYPE_ERROR

When I use amqsmon sample C program to read this statistics messages I don,t get this error.

Is there any bug with this JAVA PCF lib ?

Do you know this problem ?

Best Regards

I would dump one of the messages with something like amqsbcg, and then check it against the PCF specs. If it matches, drop an e-mail to the SupportPac author letting him know.

If it doesn't match, then raise a PMR with IBM Support.

Cheers,

Looks like you might not have all the required MQ jar files in the CLASSPATH.

Cheers.

I'm using the version WMQ 5.3 CSD07 Server, compiling with com.ibm.mq.jar class
The CLASSPATH is good.
looking the class com.ibm.mq.jar i found not the method "readStringOfByteLength"
somebody have the last version the SUPPORT PAC ms0b compatible with WMQ 5.3?

Thanks for your help!!

Upgrade your MQ to CSD12.

You might be able to contact the author of the Support Pack to get a v5.3 version. Or you might be able to convince the author to rebuild the v6 version using the deprecated methods readString and etc. instead of the v6 readStringOfByteLength and etc. to ensure backwards compatability.

But Upgrade your MQ to CSD12.

I have the same problem with statistics in V6. I guess the problem is not in the SupportPav but in the channel statistic message. The putdate/time of these messages is also not set.
Queue statistics works fine.

Hi,

It’s very strange but after installing net services “share printers” and client “Microsoft Network” this problem has gone (problem with creating configuration manager and broker posted in this forum also).

Marcin,
so now you can read the channel statistic message (MQCMD_STATISTICS_CHANNEL) with MS0B?
I think I am facing the same problem (MQ Windows 6.0.2.1)
