Our MQ application is to simulate the old SNA communication with SRVCONN and server on TANDEM and client on UNISYS. The server MQPUT a message and MQGET the reply with the waitinterval of 10 secs.
We just upgraded our MQ server to CSD03 from CSD02 and during the testing, MQ client got RC 2232. So we decided to use NO_SYNCPOINT when client issues get.
But it caused a bigger problem. Sometimes even we saw one message in the queue, client seems getting queue empty message, so messages quickly builds up on server side. It took almost 15 secs to deliver a message compare to 0.3 secs before the upgrade. But after we restart applications on both sides for serveral times, suddenly it's working.
We suspect it's kind of timing issue but can not prove. Can anyone shed some light on this problem?
Thanks.

We applied the C3EFIX4 and ask the client application to use the original GMO_SYNCPOINT option and it seems to fix the problem. Is it because the GMO_NO_SYNCPOINT caused this delay?
