Hi,all!
I have to use MQSeries like communication layer between Java application on NT and AS/400 programs.I am confused,becouse i don't know if I need a MQSeries server on the both sides,or MQSeries client on the one ( NT side) and MQSeries server on the oder.I have read the documentation and didn't understand the sequence of installation(MQClient,J2EE,...).I will appreciate every help!I make on excuse about my English! |

If the scenario is a LAN, you can consider that you hava a secure connection between the AS400 and the NT clients. Then, you can set up an MQSeries Server in the AS400 and a MQClient at NT clients. You don´t need any Java setup at the server side, but in the client side you will need the classes for build and execute java applications, that could be MQSeries for Java or MQSeries JMS. JMS is a standar to messaging. Both are supplied by IBM support pack MA88.
