Hi

The Java program is unable to connect with queue manager and logs errors.

Tail end details of the log file is as follows:

----- amqxfdcx.c : 803 --------------------------------------------------------

AMQ6175: The system could not dynamically load the shared library
'/opt/mqm/lib/libmqmcs_r.sl'. The system returned error message 'Unresolved
symbol: $RECOVER_START (data) from /usr/lib/libcl.2'. The queue manager will
continue without this module.

EXPLANATION:
This message applies to UNIX systems. The shared library
'/opt/mqm/lib/libmqmcs_r.sl' failed to load correctly due to a problem with the
library.
ACTION:
Check the file access permissions and that the file has not been corrupted.
----- amqxufnx.c : 1158 -----------------------------------------------

and the FDC is as follows

No MQM Function Stack Available

Even i executed the bellow steps:'coz XC001009 is due to Heap size problem on HP-UX os

Perform the following to enable q3p on the WMQ executables and libraries:
1. su to root
2. End all queue managers and other WMQ processes such as listeners
3. Inspect a ps -ef listing to ensure that no WMQ processes are running
4. Clear all IPC resources with owner mqm. The following command can be used on HP-UX: ipcs | grep mqm | awk '{ printf("ipcrm -%s %s\n",$1,$2); }' | ksh
5. Issue the following command to q3p enable all WMQ executables: chatr +q3p enable /opt/mqm/bin/*
6. Issue the following command to q3p enable all WMQ libraries: chatr +q3p enable /opt/mqm/lib/*
7. Restart the Queue managers

but its throwing errors, the above steps have been recommended by IBM

I checked the file permission it is correct and does not have any issue with that.

Please let me know how to resove the issue

Thanks and Regards
Gayathri

You probably need to keep working this issue with IBM support. If you got the instructions for chatr from a PMR, keep working the PMR. If you got them from a support page describing someone else's problem.. then you should open a PMR.

This could be a whole bunch of things. You did check the Quick Beginnings guide for HP, right? There's a whole bunch of platform specific things in there that you need to pay attention to. Particularly you should look at the page "Implications of a 64bit queue manager".

There's also some stuff in the Using Java manual about classpath, PATH and environmental variables that are necessary for running java on various Unix platforms.

As per the Document,

By default, the installation will operate as in previous versions of
WebSphere MQ, with symbolic links being created from /usr/lib, /usr/bin and
/usr/include to the appropriate files within the WebSphere MQ tree structure. In
the case of /usr/lib the symbolic links will be to the 32-bit WebSphere MQ
libraries provided for customer 32-bit applications.

Does it matter with the same issue that i mentioned

I have raised a PMR, but i need some inputs from you all, if anybody encountered the same issue
Thanks and Regards

Just in case it helps: the error log message and FDC timestamps are very different. These are two separate failures.
