Hi,This what i am trying
My MQ server is a solaris machine and client is a Win xp.
I have crerated a queue manger and queue on solaris.
And trying to connect it through the client Win xP...
I am getting this error...

2035 is a "user not authorised" error.
Be aware you can authorise your user id, or a group you currently belong to, as well as adding yourself to mqm. This group should be reserved for administrators (of which you may be one, I don't know ) and the use of personal ids should be discouraged for good reasons previously discussed.

When I set-up a QMgr I also define the MCAUSER to nobody (or another user with no MQ permissions) on all default channel objects. This is to secure the QMgr.
Maybe your MQ admin did the same? You should not use a default channel for connection, but only as a template for user, application or system specific channel. _________________ Regards
