I have a message type in which a few elements get repeated.
Is there a method with which I can define the element only once
and use it repeatedly in the same message type ?

There is a setting on the conection tab where you can set repeat = yes. Then on the CWF tab you can set Repeat Count Type = Count or Value of. Count will let you set a specific number. Value of will let you refer back to a previous integer field in your message.

Hope this helps.
