We had a corrupted test V6 broker environment on AIX that need to be clean up. We try to delete the config mgr and get the following error
mqsideleteconfigmgr My_CNFGMGR
AMQ7048: The queue manager name is either not valid or not known
BIP8048E: Unable to start WebSphere MQ Queue Manager 'My_QM'.
We found that soeme one has deleted 'My_QM' .
Do I have to recreate the qmgr before I can delete the config mgr ? Anyway to do it without recreating QM ? We have to get another group to do it for us.
go to /var/mqsi/registry and delete the entry of your configmgr.
also, go to /var/mqsi/components/ and delete the entry of the configmgr.
the entry of configmgr will be in the form of directory.
and issue mqsilist command. Your configmgr will not be there.
