Problem while stopping the QMgr

Windows 2000, MQ5.3

I have a QueueMgr when i try to stop the QMGR it gives me the error as below

Unable to stop the QMgr with reason code 128

The Websphere MQ Services were unable to stop the Qmgr. The error reported was as follows: Process could not be started - return code 128

Can someone help me

Are you seeing any errors in your AMQERR files? It sounds like it could possibly be a permissions thing.

Also make sure you don't have some odd version of the DLLs in the path.
