We run Toolkit 6.0.0.1 on WIndows, and my local broker install (used for debugging) shows one execution group in the Admin perspective. But I have discovered that there are four DataFlowEngine.exe processes running on the box, taking up memory. I ran mqsilist and it shows this:
C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.0>mqsilist WBRK_BROKER
BIP8130I: Execution Group: PowerPlantDOJM-A - 2872
BIP8130I: Execution Group: test - 3668
BIP8130I: Execution Group: PowerPlantCBS-A - 4556
BIP8130I: Execution Group: test2 - 3184
Of these four, only test (pid 3668 in this case) is shown in the toolkit. The others are from old testing and were dropped using the toolkit, but obviously aren't completely gone.
They must be still defined to the broker somplace, because if I manually kill each process, or cycle the broker, or boot, all four processes come back.
I tried to manually delete a flow out of one of these using the -d option of mqsideploy, but it returned an error. Does anyone know how I can get rid of these, short of nuking my broker and recreating? They each use memory resources and my workstation is short on memory.
Thanks in advance for any help... _________________ Steve |

Do a search on this site. There was some resolution for this problem about 2 to 3 months ago.
Usually best thing is, if the execution group still exists in the toolkit to remove all children and maybe restart the broker....
But in this case you might have to do it the hard way accessing the DB. See the old post about details.
